Common pricing questions
A script is counted when Medsync initiates a PA or BV check for a prescription. Resubmissions and appeals on the same original prescription do not count as additional scripts. Scripts that are voided before processing do not count.
Yes. PA auto-submission and real-time benefits verification are both included in every plan, including Starter. BV is not an add-on — it's part of the core workflow Medsync runs on every eligible script.
Standard onboarding (Starter) takes approximately 2 weeks — including system integration, payer credentialing, and staff training. Growth tier includes priority onboarding with a dedicated implementation specialist, typically 5–7 business days. Enterprise onboarding is customized based on your system environment and multi-location scope.
Monthly plans are billed month-to-month with no long-term commitment. Annual plans are billed annually and offer approximately 17% savings over monthly pricing. Enterprise agreements are custom-negotiated. There are no setup fees or cancellation penalties on standard plans.
Yes. A HIPAA BAA is included automatically with Growth and Enterprise plans. Starter customers who require a BAA should contact us — we review BAA requests on a case-by-case basis for Starter-tier pharmacies that need it for compliance purposes.
We'll notify you when you reach 80% of your monthly limit. Scripts over the limit continue to process — you won't experience an outage. We'll work with you to upgrade to the appropriate plan. There are no overage fees charged automatically; we handle it through a prorated plan adjustment.
